Concord: Hundreds help needy in Shelter Inc.'s Thanksgiving food drive
By Concord Transcript and Pleasant Hill/Martinez Record

Hundreds of volunteers -- like Jack Linchey, 16, above, who stacks boxed pasta, and Susan Pauly, left, sorting desserts -- came together Nov. 21, to help SHELTER, Inc. in its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Donated foods were sorted and packed at the nonprofit group's main Concord office for delivery to 225 low-income and homeless families for Thanksgiving meals.
