Join Us for a Week of Special Events!

We’re excited to give our friends and donors an opportunity to view a powerful movie dissecting the homelessness crisis. We’ll discuss ways in which we’re attacking this problem in Solano County and open the door for our generous supporters to make a real difference in our community.

Enjoy an Online Screening of "The Invisible Class"

“The Invisible Class” explores what it truly means to be homeless in America, challenging stereotypes and examining the systemic causes of mass homelessness in the wealthiest nation in the world.

We’re offering a chance to view this film for free from Sunday, June 20, through Wednesday, June 23. Watch it online, from anywhere, at your convenience, and learn more about a day in the life of America’s homeless population.

Discuss Key Issues With a Panel of Experts

After you watch the film, join SHELTER, Inc.’s leadership team and those working to make a difference in Solano County for a conversation on Thursday, June 24. We’ll discuss points raised by the film, how they pertain to what we’re seeing, and how our supporters can help us fight these issues.

SHELTER, Inc.'s Day of Giving

Finally, we’ll host a special Day of Giving on Friday, June 25. All proceeds will benefit SHELTER, Inc.’s programs in Solano County, which allow us to collaborate with homeless and at-risk families and individuals on plans that return those people to self-sufficiency.
