SHELTER, Inc provides many services to help you obtain or maintain housing.
Do you currently have housing but are at risk of losing it?
We may be able to provide one time assistance for rental or mortgage payments, utilities or other essential needs. Fill out the application to see if you qualify.
Do you need assistance obtaining housing?
We may be able to provide one-time assistance with move-in costs, deposits, locating housing, or short-term rental payments. Long-term housing for those with mental health concerns, chronic substance use, and families with HIV/AIDS may also be available. Veterans
If you are a veteran facing homelessness there is help! Some of the qualifications include: a discharge other than dishonorable and be able to provide proof of discharge status (DD-214 or other VA documentation) prior to enrollment. The veteran or veteran household must be low income (below 50% of the area median income level), and must have, or be eligible for, a source of income that will support stable housing.
