The outpouring of support from the tournament and reception benefitting the homeless grossed $208k. Our participant Heidi Gardner (pictured with her daughter) was interviewed by Mistress of Ceremonies Ann Notarangelo, Martinez Refinery External Relations and Emmy-award winning former CBS Channel 5 weekend anchor, in a moving testimonial of Heidi’s journey through homelessness. SI CEO John Eckstrom remarked on the need for this giving in the community and the gratitude of SHELTER, Inc. for the compassion of so many. (Participant Heidi and daughter pictured with Ann.)
